Fans from the Period Arts Fan Company have been inspired by the West Coast Arts and Crafts Movement, the Greek Revival, Art Nouveau, the Austrian Secessionist Movement, and the Industrial Age. While they may be based on old designs, they use modern technology on the inside with lifetime motor warranties, electronic controls, and energy-saving compact fluorescent lighting options available on all ceiling fans. Period Arts Fans have a good pedigreeRon Rezek draws inspiration from a variety of sources. He uses this inspiration to create unique specialty fans. They channel the ideas of Dirk Van Erp (through the Arcadia and Bodega fans), Frank Lloyd Wright (through the Prairie Fan), Benjamin Henry Latrobe (through the Flute fan), Henry van de Velde, and Victor Horta (through the Eclipse fan). Ron Rezek combines their ideas with his own background as a lighting designer: an MFA from UCLA, his time with mentors such as Henry Dreyfuss and Don Chadwick, and his experience running lighting showrooms. He continues to look to great European and American design movements to create original interpretations on what ceiling fans could have looked like.Period Arts Fans meet your needs Fans from the Period Arts Fan Company will come well suited to your individual needs. For instance, - All fans come in either a 52 or 42 inch blade span

- All fans have either an incandescent or CFL light option
