We selected this fan for our remodeled family room. The room is large and open, consisting of two stories, lots of windows and a gas fireplace. The fan does an excellent job in circulating the air throughout the room to avoid hot and cold spots caused by hot water heat and air conditioning. Most impressive is how quiet the fan is even at high speeds. No wobbling and no noise. What a change from our old fan. The remote control is a bonus, which makes adjusting the speed as simple as changing TV channels. We couldn't be happier with this purchase. We also purchased a smaller fan for our sunroom. We wish we could have found a smaller version of this fan for that room--it's that good.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
