The Modern Fan Company is Born
Ron Rezek started the brick and mortar Modern Fan Company in 1997, in Ashland, Oregon. They only design and manufacture modern ceiling fans. There is no traditional style ceiling fans made at the Modern Fan Company. Since then, their line of modern ceiling fans has been revisited and engineered with you in mind. Since their earlier models, each modern fan has been made easier to install, more simple to maintain, and more flexible in specification. These fans show in modern fan finishes, geometric forms, and mechanical simplification. Modern Fan designs reflect "simplicity in form and economy in production", as said by Ron Rezek of the Modern Fan Company. Recently, the Modern Fan Company launched their sister company, the Period Arts Fan Company offering contemporary and arts & crafts style ceiling fans.
Every Modern Fan at Modern Fan Company can be customized:
- Most of the modern fans can have 36", 42" or 52" fan blade spans
- Most fans come in Gloss White and hand spun Brushed Aluminum
- Most Modern fans are offered with optional remote controls
- Most fans are offered with optional light kits or integrated light kits
