Why an Outdoor Hugger Ceiling Fan is Right for Your Home
Are you looking to cool down your lower exterior ceiling? We understand some porches, decks, garages, and sheds have lower ceilings but the room just really needs some chilling. We have a huge variety of sizes, including larger and smaller fans. These fans may not be the best bedroom fan, so use them outside on a low ceiling. We also have a lot of designs and finishes, including white, pewter, oil rubbed bronze, studio white, tannery bronze, bright nickel, brushed aluminum, old world, brushed nickel wet and more.
Height. Traditional ceiling fans should never hang lower than seven feet from the floor, though sometimes they will hang lower in smaller spaces but typically should not go below six feet from the floor. If your ceiling is lower than this you might want to consider an outdoor wall fan. Hugger ceiling fans are perfect for eight foot ceilings.
Width. Typically fans should not be less than 18 inches from the end of the ceiling fan blade to the edge of the wall. Having fans any closer to the wall could hinder the fans air flow and rotation. That’s why we recommend you know the size of your room and which size fan you need. Here’s a quick guide to help.
