Comments about Emerson CF905BS, Prima Snugger Brushed Steel Flush Mount 52" Ceiling Fan with Wall Control:

This is an excellent fan for the money! We have 8 ft ceilings and needed to go with a hugger style fan. We purchased 4 fans, 3 with the optional light fixture (LK65BS) along with the dual slide control (SW90W). We plan to use them as an alternative to AC for the warm summer days. (We do have window AC units, but only plan to use those for the really hot days if necessary.) We have them in the master BR above the bed, in the two guest BRs, and home office. The two guest BRs and home office are roughly 12 to 14 ft square. These fans also have the optional light fixture, since these rooms did not have overhead lighting. The lights are a bit dim for our liking, but may be improved with different style light bulbs. The other drawback is the pull chain, which is unnecessary for us because we had wall switches to operate the light and fan. We just had our electrician cut the pull chain. Overall, we are very happy with these fans. They are very quiet, attractive and modern looking, and provide a lot of air flow at the highest speed setting. With the exception of the lighting, this fan is just about perfect!
