    Comments about Emerson CF710WW, Pro Series II Appliance White 42" Ceiling Fan with Light:

    We pruchased this fan because of it's smaller blade span (to accommodate opening cabinet doors in a small kitchen). Had a professional electrician install it. Looks fine and seems to move a lot of air for the size. Wanted to let ya'll out there know that the motor emits a low hum, regardless of the fan speed. We're certain the hum is from the motor, not from the movement of the blades. Probably won't be an issue in a noisy kitchen but could be in a quiet study or bedroom.
