Comments about Kichler 300011DBK, Olympia Distressed Black Uplight 60" Ceiling Fan with Remote Control:
Although very expensive, I do not see any issues with the quality or workability of this fan. It is very heavy and almost totally silent. I do think that the stock photo should indicate next to it that the light kit on the bottom is an option. To have found this out later is no good. You have to scroll down and click light options, it's says available and shows you what is optional. Stock photo should be of fan alone and then show a picture of the kit. Also, the bulbs provided for upper and lower light kits do not match in shade even though they are incandescent. When all was said and done I spent over $700 for a ceiling fan. As I said, it is really nice... As well it should be. I would recommend this if you have deep pockets and don't want to do this again for a very long time.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
