    We installed 2 of these on our back porch and couldn't be happier. I was skeptical about the amount of light the unit would put out because the bulb was tiny, but they put out a ton of light. The fans look amazing, are quiet and don't wobble. We also purchased the optional remote control. Programming it to work with both fans was a breeze and having a remote control adds the convenience of changing speeds without separate controls or pull chains. Also, Del Mar shipping was fast and they packaged the optional down rod and remote nicely inside the box.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
