    Our plan was to replace all the "dated" gold fixtures in the house with more modern looking ones. We first ordered one fan and installed it. We liked it so well that we ordered 4 more. The installation instructions are straight forward, and as far as I can tell all the parts are top quality, . One thing the instructions don't tell you is that there are 4 or 5 rubber brakes attached to keep the motor from rotating during shipping, I assume. These are located where the fan blades attach, and need to be removed first. When I first attempted to attach a blade I thought the holes weren't spaced correctly, then I figured out I had to remove these "brakes" first, and the installation went smoothly after that.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
