Comments about Quorum 70443-65, Nikko Satin Nickel Flush Mount 44" Ceiling Fan with Light & Wall Control:
I installed this fan in our family room and while it is a flush mount and we expected some vibration noise, the humming was far greater than expected. After re-reviewing the included instruction and trouble-shooting area I re-installed double checking to make certain all components worked and connections were correctly installed. I then proceeded to test the various elements and noted that the fan did not make any noise when the blades were removed. Knowing that fan blade balance can cause vibration noises I tried many different possible fan blade position locations permutations and still no luck. It was only when I partially installed the fan blades (loose fitting in mount) that and my wife happened to hit the on switch did the fan finally stop making a humming noise. This then became my solution, the fan blades cannot be fully torqued and must hang ever so slightly to avoid the noise.Ken
Happy with the unit

About Me Casual Do-It-Yourselfer
I like the unit alot. It works very well and it's quiet. This was the lowest profile unit that I could find in the market for low ceiling and I am very happy with the unit's performance. I just wish that it had a remote control instead of the wall unit and also wish that the lamp was little brighter.
