Bought two. They look great in the spare bedroom and computer room. They put out a lot of air for the size. Easy to install.

after reading many reviews until 1:AM, I decided that fan was going to be perfect for my up-stairs hallway, it was the only fan that no one had a complaint about. all 5 stars reviews from every ones.my handymen removed the original hallway light & had the fan completely installed & running with in a 1HR & 45 min, and he works slow HA! so I believe installation was easy. it also looks great.

Comments about Westinghouse 7850800, Contempra Trio White Flush Mount 42" Ceiling Fan with Light:
I needed a ceiling fan with lights that is very near my Kid's bunk bed. My other fan was an accident waiting to happen. This fan is low profile. The fan blades are short, at first that worried me but they work great in a 12x12 room. The lights are chandelier bulbs, so they only take light bulbs with tiny bases. It does NOT include bulbs.

I wanted a transitional look, quiet, fans that had lights, were energy efficient, and which would work with fan speed controllers from Leviton. I was a little nervous that some of the cheapest fans I found were the ones that looked like the best fit. However, I had three of them professionally installed, and I've been very happy. They are quiet, effective, and efficient. The only annoying bit is that they take three bulbs with the candelabra base, and none came with the fans. I'd buy them before installing the fan, so that you can test the light fixtures right away (I didn't). I'm sure they exist, but I haven't yet found LED or Fluorescent bulbs which fit, and which I like.
Good fan, warning re: light bulbs

The fan requires the thin, pointy lightbulbs versus standard lightbulbs. This was not clear from the product description and was disappointing (but not so much that we didn't keep the fan). We installed these fans in two small rooms (about 8 x 12), and the fans circulate the air well in that space. They would probably be too small for a much larger room beyond that size. There is a slight patterned hum when the fan is on, but it doesn't rattle or shake at all, which I've found to be a problem with fans in the past. After awhile, you don't notice the hum.
