The Muse is a beautiful fan, it is quiet has a very good air stream and with the added convenience of the multi function remote the Muse is very easy to operate. There is one issue with the Muse that I'm afraid makes your Muse a Nightmare. That is the light kit. It is very poorly designed for a fan of this quality You know your in trouble when you are unable to remove the light shade by following the directions and simply turning it counterclockwise and it does not budge from the grid that holds it. You really know your in trouble when you call customer service describe your issue and the first thing the agent does is ask you if you would like to order a replacement light shade as they are kept in stock. REALLY ? When I said I didn't plan on breaking the shade I simply wished to remove the light shade to replace the burned out 100 watt bulb which came with the fan I should say too it lasted 3 months before needing replacement and it was not on more then a total of 3 hours as the fan is installed above my bed. The light is turned on when I enter the room and off once i reach my night stand which hold's my reading lamp.So after 3 months it's burned out Not Good. Worse though is when the customer service agent automatically assumes I will break the shade and am going to order a new one. The agent assumes this because it is a KNOWN FLAW in the fan which the manufacture refuses to address. The manufacture is the Quorum Company based in Ft. Worth Texas Due to this experience I have eliminated them from the list of companies I will trade with and when my next client chooses this fan I will have to direct them in another direction. As I can not in good conscience place inferior good's in the design space's I create. I put this in my own master bedroom but now for safety's sake the whole unit will be removed as my faith in the quality of the product has diminished to zero. A definite keep shopping from here.
