What is the best illumination style to mount to the high ceiling of an entryway? Most homeowners would agree that a larger foyer pendant light could be the best solution. Its size ensures a proportional display while its mounting method allows for capitalizing on the ceiling height. For very large entrances, you might do very well with an entryway pendant light that fills up the space between the mounting point and the standard ceiling height. In fact, some fixtures exceed 70 inches in width and 50 inches in height.

Pick a Foyer Pendant Light That Brings Eye Candy to the Home

Because so many homes now allow for the entryway hanging light to be visible through foyer windows, style considerations abound. Maybe you should you go for metal, white, or translucent glass shade. In the same way, several foyer hanging lights with unique or designer shapes could make more sense than one Tiffany or other designer fixture. Because size is of such importance, remember that you can always add on to the stem mount with a chain. In this way, the foyer pendant will always be the right distance from the ceiling while remaining proportional to the home’s other features.

Are you toying with the idea of going bigger or grander with the home’s entryway? A foyer chandelier could be a good option. They are large, spectacular, and provide excellent lighting. For smaller entrances, consider recessed or flush-mounted entryway ceiling lights.
