Suzanne Kasler is a highly respected interior designer known for her captivating aesthetic and signature collections. Her work, which includes collaborations with prominent names like Lee Jofa and Ballard Designs, has earned accolades and has been featured in renowned publications like Elle Decor and Architectural Digest. One of her most notable projects is the design of The Barn at Blackberry Farm, a premier dining room in Tennessee. Kasler's designs combine timeless elegance with bold details, offering a glimpse of bygone eras mixed with contemporary comfort.

Educated in interior architecture at the University of Cincinnati, Kasler initially ventured into commercial design. This foundation was technical and linear, focusing on the architecture of a space before its décor. She later transitioned to residential interior design, owning a décor shop in Indianapolis, and eventually moved to Atlanta to concentrate on high-end residential interior design. Her personal aesthetic is characterized by subdued color palettes, French antiques, and comfortable upholstery, mixing old and new elements for a refined and sophisticated look.

Kasler draws inspiration from various sources. Paris, with its colors, architecture, history, and beauty, is a perennial source of inspiration for her. Additionally, living in Atlanta has influenced her design philosophy, especially how Southern hospitality starts with the home. This regional influence is evident in her designs, which reflect a deep understanding of how people live in their homes in the South.

In her collaboration with Visual Comfort & Co., Kasler brings her unique style, emphasizing antiques and collections that create special settings. Her lighting collection features subtle details and strong, structured silhouettes, utilizing timeless materials and custom patina finishes. This collection is characterized by easy sophistication and a sense of history, seamlessly blending continental and classic styles in her interior designs.

Kasler's portfolio extends beyond lighting design. She has also worked on a range of colors for the French company La Cornue, a new collection with Hickory Chair, and continues to add pieces to her lines for both Visual Comfort & Co. and Ballard Designs. Her work showcases her ability to create diverse and sophisticated designs that transcend a single medium or style, making her a versatile and influential figure in the world of interior design.
